With great enthusiasm, the second day of the Rodolfo Morales Festival took place, featuring various events related to the culture and traditions of Oaxaca for the enjoyment of national and international tourists.
On this day, a printmaking workshop inspired by the works of painter Rodolfo Morales was highlighted. During the activity, participants were able to create designs on bags, t-shirts, and paper. The course was held in Parque Primavera in the city of Oaxaca.
Additionally, the stage concert "El Mextizozapoteco sings to the Racial Tribute" took place in Alameda de León, where young artists received recognition from the audience for their talent and dedication in the performance. A concert by the state Marimba was also offered, where visitors enjoyed traditional interpretations from the 8 regions of Oaxaca.
Despite the rain that occurred on Monday afternoon, dozens of people, especially tourists, were able to enjoy the various cultural events in the city of Oaxaca.
The Secretary of Cultures and Arts of Oaxaca, Flavio Sosa Villavicencio, highlighted the positive response from tourists during the first day of the Rodolfo Morales Spring Festival. He also noted that an increase in attendance at the concerts is expected in the coming days.
For the upcoming scheduled events, on April 25, the group Ángeles Azules will perform in Alameda de León, and on April 30, the rock band Molotov. Additionally, to celebrate the 493 years since Verde Antequera was elevated to a city, an expanded celebration with more than 50 activities for the enjoyment of attendees will take place on April 25.
